When it’s time to venture off-property, there are plenty of things you’ll be able to do. Old Mill Lakeside Bar is within a quick walk, where you can relax by the fire with a drink and dinner. 

Pelynt, Looe, and Polperro villages are only a few miles away. These are excellent places to visit if you want to really explore the southeastern region of Cornwall.

When you visit 2 Stonerush Valley, you’ll have the Cornish countryside at your doorstep. There’s no shortage of fun things to do in the area. 

If you enjoy a bit of hiking, you can head out to the West Looe Valley and take a trip to St. Nonna’s Well. Be sure to bring a bent pin as an offering or risk getting a visit from some mischievous pixies.

Along the road from Liskeard toward Looe is a small Cornish circle. It’s one of about 13 circles in the Cornwall region, and the Duloe is the smallest. Archaeologists date the site to the second century BCE.

The walk from Lerryn to St. Winnow will take you along the River Fowey to a St. Winnow church. The church sits along the creek, and if you look hard enough, you might be able to find old Roman coins along the banks.
